So you've decided you would like to have a virtual tour created for your business. Cotswolds360 produces 360 degree virtual tours which can be embedded into your website allowing your customers to take a virtual walk around your business whether that be a hotel, self catering holiday cottage, bed & breakfast, shop, outdoor attraction or anything else!
Here's how the process works.
The first step is to speak with us so that we can establish your requirements. What type of business you have, how many locations or rooms you want to include in the virtual tour etc.
We will be able to give you idea of how long we will need to be on site. During this chat we can also answer any questions you may have.
After we've had our initial conversation we will be able to supply a quote for the virtual tour. This will cover the cost of the 360 photography, the post-processing we carry out on the images and building the tour itself.
The quote will also detail any extras such as the annual virtual tour hosting fee, the cost of integrating the tour into your website (if you want us to do this for you), and ongoing maintenance if you would like us to return on a regular basis to update the tour photography.
If you are happy with the quotation we just need you to drop us an email accepting our quotation. We will then arrange a suitable date and time to visit your business to carry out the photography.
Please bear in mind that weather conditions need to be considered. We need to try and visit on a bright and sunny day as the more natural daylight present, the better.
We will visit you on the date agreed and start by carrying out an initial survey and discuss how we are going to proceed with the photography session. At this stage you can point out any particular features you would like to showcase.
If possible, we would like to carry out the photography session alone. With 360 degree photography there's no hiding place and we're sure you don't to appear in the photos hiding behind a door thinking you cannot be seen in mirrors or reflections in windows!
Once we have captured all the rooms or locations to be included in your virtual tour we will take the images back to our office and begin post-processing (adjusting image exposure, cropping images as required etc.).
When we have a set of processed images we will start building the tour, linking rooms so that viewers can walk through the various areas we photographed (if applicable) or creating one tour per room if that's what is required.
Once we have built your tour(s) we will send you links so that you can view them on your computer, smartphone or tablet.
If you would like us to integrate the tour into your website then we are happy to do this for you. If you have someone who looks after your website we can send them the information then need to carry out the website integration.
It's important that your virtual tour is kept up to date so that it accurately reflects your business to potential and existing customers.
You can either subscribe to a maintenance package and we will return to take new photographs as required, or you can elect for a pay as you go (PAYG) option whereby you call us when you would like a room or rooms updated.
